Royal Caribbean has announced plans for the Royal Beach Club, a new 17-acre beach retreat set to open in December 2025 on Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas. This $100 million project is designed to highlight Bahamian culture while offering plenty of ways to relax and play by the ocean.

The beach club will feature live Bahamian music, vibrant Junkanoo parades, and markets where guests can shop for local crafts. Relaxation options include private cabanas, shaded daybeds, and oceanfront lounge chairs. On the menu are Bahamian favorites like conch fritters and fresh seafood, with meals prepared by local chefs.

Guests can take advantage of water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding, with designated swimming areas for those who just want to enjoy the ocean. Families will appreciate the dedicated kids’ zone, complete with splash pads and shallow pools.

Royal Caribbean is partnering with the Bahamian government and local businesses, with 51% of the project owned by Bahamian entities. This collaboration is expected to create jobs and boost the local economy while keeping the project firmly rooted in the community.

The Royal Beach Club will also emphasize sustainability, limiting daily visitors to protect the natural beauty of Paradise Island.

Construction is already underway, with the grand opening scheduled for December 2025. Once complete, the Royal Beach Club will give cruise guests another reason to explore Nassau while adding to Royal Caribbean’s lineup of exclusive destinations.
